Houston Photo Booth Rentals FAQs

Here are some of our most frequently asked questions
Photo booths need juice to work. If you’re thinking about setting up a booth outside, or at some kind of sporting event, you’ll have to think about whether or not you’ll be able to access the power supply. You’ll also want to consider if it’s placed in such a way as to prevent hazards. The last thing you want is people tripping over themselves or knocking down the set-up.

Double check if the booth you’re requesting can be set up in what type of environment. There may be times where a weatherproof shelter is going to be insisted upon. Photo booths can also be very heavy (looking at you traditional booth) so please consider and do some consultation clarifying the best ways to access the photo booth and even the venue to ensure that you and your guests get the most out of the experience. Houston Photo Booth wants to ensure the best service and experience, so please help us help you!

In additional to accessibility, you’ll want to think about what guests will be joining you. If some of your guests have difficulty getting to certain areas because of wheelchairs, crutches, or scooters that should definitely factor into your photo booth decision. If ahead of time you know  you want the booth to be accessible for guests that will need it, then you might want to opt for a booth that will allow for them to be accomodated. A lot of photo booths may also have cameras that are too high for them to be in the shots. That can be circumvented by having people assist or requesting stools or booster seats ahead of time so that they will be able to enjoy as well. There are places that do have booths tailor-made for events where kids will be present, but again, asking the right questions is key!

On the day

When you order a photo booth, most of the time a trained attendant will come along and assist on the day of your event. For the more specific booths (slow-motion, 360) this may be absolutely mandatory because the equipment may require that to be the case. There are times when an attendant isn’t mandatory, but it really depends on the company and the packages.

Also consider that most photo booths print doubles of the photo strips that are made. One copy of the photo strip usually goes to the guest for keeping and the other goes to who rented the photo booth itself. Most photo booths pre-cut them but some still require an attendant to be present to do this. Still, there are machines that offer single prints or multiple prints.
